Hi community, I've been doing a bit of research and am considering either Apache Ignite or GridGain Community Edition. What's the difference between the two platforms since they are both free and open source?
    -Thanks

    Hi Steve,

GridGain Community Edition (GCE) includes the Apache Ignite code base plus patches and additional functionality developed to improve performance, reliability, security and manageability. What are some of the advantages? GCE enables GridGain to quickly deploy patches and upgrades for the Apache Ignite community, faster than the normal Ignite release cycle. GCE also includes performance and reliability enhancements that optimize Apache Ignite for production deployments. GCE is available under the GridGain Community Edition License.

    Hope that helps!
    -Tom
